Mayor Schroeder gives Woman's Club certificate
The Woman's Club was honored with a United Nations Day proclamation at the Point Borough Council meeting at Borough Hall on Tuesday night.
Borough Mayor William Schroeder read and presented a certificate about the UN, its role in the world and its ongoing work to Irene Morgenroth, the secretary of the Woman's Club Federation, on St. Louis Avenue, Point Beach.
Afterwards, Morgenroth said the club has donated money to and supported the UN's work.
