Point Pleasant Borough Council welcomed a new face and a returning one, swearing in Robert Sabosik and Joseph Furmato to their respective terms.
The council reorganization meeting Sunday began another term for Sabosik, who was also then chosen by the council to serve as it's president. Mayor Bill Schroeder said Sabosik is the only council person to serve two consecutive years as council president.
Furmato began his first term as a councilman with Sunday's swearing in, his family by his side.
Mayor and council members each offered welcoming comments toward Furmato, also noting the time consuming commitment council service can be.
In addition to the council swearing-ins, appointments and annual contracts were decided.
