Point Boro To Use $142K FEMA Grant To Install Well Generator

Point Pleasant Borough will use a $142,000 FEMA grant to improve a portion of the water system in town.

A FEMA mitigation grant will fund $142,000 of the cost of a new generator to backup the largest well in Point Pleasant, said Borough Councilman William Borowsky in his committee report at this week’s council meeting.

Well #8, which draws approximately 32 billion gallons of water a year, will have the full size generator installed, said the councilman.
