State to Offer Help to Sandy Victims in Bay Head Tues.

Insurance Dept. will be at firehouse from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

To continue assisting New Jerseyans who have suffered property loss as a result of Superstorm Sandy, the state Department of Banking and Insurance will host a mobile office in Bay Head from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to handle consumers’ questions, take complaints, and assist them in filing insurance claims related to damages caused by the storm.

Staff will also respond to concerns about banking and mortgage issues related to insurance claims, as well as answer general questions.

The Department will send members of its senior staff along with consumer representatives to the firehouse. There will also be a representative from the governor’s office at each site. In order to expedite matters, residents should bring their insurance policy, any claim or related information to the mobile office.
