The new executive board of the Antrim PTO, Erin Mathioudakis, Peg Born, Suzanne Shea, Julia Porter and Lisa Whelan, welcomes all students and families “back to school" and asks more parents to volunteer to help make events and the school year successful.

The PTO is a vital part of the Antrim Community bringing together students, parents, teachers and administrators.

"While we encourage members to attend our monthly meetings, we understand that might not always be possible with life’s commitments and busy family schedules," said Peg Born of the PTO executive board. "However, there are many ways over the course of the school year to get involved.

"The PTO will have tables, with committee sign-up sheets, set up at Back to School Night on Sept 12th and 13th," Born said. "This is a great opportunity for parents to review the many wonderful events sponsored by the PTO and select those committees that they would like to get involved in."

The events include pumpkin carving; dances, the Holiday Cooks' Tour; the new Winter Family Fun Nights; Breakfast with Santa and the Spring Carnival.

All of these events can be found both on the PTO website, antrimrocks.com and on the calendar provided to you by the PTO in your welcome back packets.
