Pt. Pleasant Borough Environmental Speaker Series

The Point Pleasant Borough Climate Action Committee in conjunction with the Point Pleasant Borough Environmental Commission welcomes guest speaker Mike Romanowski of the Ocean County Mosquito Commission .

Mr. Romanowski started working with mosquito control in 1981 when he worked with the DEP.  In the fall of 1982 he joined the Ocean County Mosquito Extermination Commission first as an Inspector, then as a Biologist and Entomologist and now as an Assistant
Supervisor.

Mr. Romanowski has published many articles about mosquito control and speaks extensively about the subject every year. 

His talk will be a general overview of basic mosquito biology, the
programs of the Ocean County Mosquito Commission and most importantly about mosquito problems around the home and what a homeowner can do about them.
