Leave it on the Field November 23, 2012 at 04:38 AM
Wow! At least 50 years of alumni from Pt. Pleasant Beach High School were alive with pride all over the country today as the Pt. Beach Garnet Gull Football Team clinched the Shore Conference Class B Central Championship! So many people are deeply encouraged & inspired by this group of young men! Their outstanding accomplishments on the field were only surpassed by their personal & magnificent efforts that brought light to neighbors suffering in darkness after Hurricane Sandy! We are so pleased the 2012 championship played out on the field that honors Coach Fio's name because he would have expected nothing less from all of them. This team escorted all of us to the other side of a difficult time & we are thankful. Congratulations!
