Point Beach H.S. Hosts Free Brunch for Seniors on May 22

Seniors should RSVP ASAP since space is limited

The Student Council is encouraging local senior citizens to reserve a spot quickly for a free May 22 brunch.

Council members are treating seniors to a brunch at 816 Arnold Ave., Point Beach at 10 a.m.

This is the second year in a row the student council is hosting a hot meal and social gathering for local senior citizens.

The event also features a guest speaker, Louanne Kane, from Community Services of Ocean County Inc., a nonprofit agency that is not part of county government but often works with them. Kane will discuss "How to Take Control of Your Health."

American Grill is offering the following four choices for lunch, including drinks and sides all at a reduced rate (to be paid for by the student council):bacon and eggs; garden salad with grilled chicken; chicken balsamic sandwich; or chopped steak with mushroom gravy.

Any seniors interested can RSVP to the high school at (732) 899-1817.
