Point Boro HS Puts on Storybook Theater for Younger Kids Today

The free Read Across America Event is 4 p.m. today at high school

Parents of children 3 to 8 years old are encouraged to bring their children to a free Read Across America storybook theater performance at Point Borough High School today.

The school, like many across the country, is celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss, which is tomorrow, and Read Across America by giving children a fun celebration of reading.

The event begins at 4 p.m., with doors opening at 3:30 p.m., at the high school auditorium.

The event will highlight the importance of reading with a one hour children's theater presentation written and performed by high school students.

The event is sponsored by the Point Pleasant Education Association.
