Point Boro Sets Dates to Present School Budget Info.

Any Point Borough residents who want to learn about the proposed budget for the coming school year have at least three opportunities.

Listed below are the dates of meetings that will be held in relation to the 2012-2013 school budget:

What: 2012-2013 Budget Information Session
When: February 27
Time: 7 p.m.          
Location: High School Auditorium                        
Description: The Borough School District's Central Administration will discuss the process of crafting the annual school budget. Major cost centers, revenue sources and property tax cap limitations will be discussed and frequently asked questions will be addressed.

What: 2012-2013 Budget Presentation
When: March 12
Time: 7 p.m.          
Location:  Ocean Road Elementary School

Description: The Borough School District’s Central Administration and the Board of Education will have the initial public viewing of the 2012-2013 Budget Presentation.

What: Public Hearing on the 2012-2013 Budget
When: March 26
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location:  Ocean Road Elementary School                       
Description: The Borough Board of Education members will vote on the 2012-2013 School Budget at their meeting on March 26.
