Point Pleasant Borough Asks for Applications for Integrated Pre-School

Six students without special needs will be accepted into continuing program at Nellie F. Bennett Elementary School

The Point Pleasant School District will be operating an integrated pre-school program for the 2011-12 school year.

Located at the integrated pre-school program combines students with and without special needs into one classroom.

The program follows the state Department of Education standards for pre-school and is taught by a certified teacher.

The program follows the district’s 2011-12 academic calendar. Classes are 12:50 to 3:20 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The 2011-12 tuition rate for students without disabilities is $2,500.00. Parents are responsible for providing transportation.

Only six openings are available for students without special needs who will turn 4 by Oct. 1, 2011. The six students will be picked randomly.

Applications are available for download on the district website at www.pointpleasant.k12.nj.us. Completed applications will be accepted until March 25, 2011.
