"Twelve Angry Jurors" Coming to Point Boro HS Stage

Limited tickets available for Thurs., Fri., Sat. performances

"Twelve Angry Jurors" will be performed at Point Borough High School this Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

The play, written by Reginald Rose, tells the story of a boy on trial for fatally stabbing his father and how a guilty verdict could mean a death sentence. The evidence includes eyewitness testimony that seems to indicate the boy is guilty.

"As simple conversations among jurors turn into arguments that turn into fights, the jurors' personal prejudices become clear and biases and weaknesses alter their decision making," according to a prepared statement from the high school drama department.

The play will be performed in a theater-in-the-round setting with limited tickets available, so those interested in attending are urged to order tickets in advance.

The performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thurs. and 7:30 p.m. Fri. and Sat.

Tickets are $10.00 per person. Call the box office at 732-701-1900 ext. 2218.
