Seaside Heights Elementary T-Shirt and Sweatshirt Campaign

All profits from online sales of T-Shirts and sweatshirts from April 22 until May 31 are being donated to Hugh J. Boyd Elementary of Seaside.

Shore 2 Recover recently partnered with Hugh J. Boyd Elementary, of Seaside Heights, in hopes of assisting the elementary school with reopening for the 2013/2014 school year.

All profits from Shore 2 Recover Sweatshirts and T-Shirts sold from April 22 through May 31 on www.shore2recover.com will be donated to the school. It is so important for the students, teachers and administrative staff to return to their school, which is the sole purpose of this campaign.

Shore 2 Recover had the pleasure of meeting with Chris Raichle, Hugh J. Boyd Elementary principal, during the Shore Up Our Schools II event on March 2.

Toni Pecunia, Shore 2 Recover founder, discussed the overwhelming needs list the school had. Pecunia was able to visit where Central Regional High School (located 25 minutes west) designated a wing for the students of Hugh J. Boyd to borrow until the school has been fully equipped and repaired.

Although grateful for having a place to go, Raichle and his staff explained how the limitation on space is challenging. Currently there is no date for Boyd's reopening, but we are committed to seeing them open as soon as possible. Our mission states that our main focus is to secure stabilization for families and businesses  along the affected coast line.
