Summer Community Intern Project for July and August 2013

We're calling on our local youth!!! The goal of this project is to raise awareness throughout the community and give students the opportunity to get involved and make a difference.

For the summer of 2013 we are looking to give juniors and seniors of all high schools and any college student the opportunity to intern with Shore 2 Recover. We are asking that any individual willing to sign up be able to commit to three days a month for a total time of thirty hours for the months of July and August.

The goal of this project is to raise awareness throughout the community and give students the opportunity to get involved and make a difference. Participants will learn organizational skills, get familiar with programs and software, the importance of working as a team, how to raise charitable funds, and understand the meaning of volunteerism and leadership. In addition students will also participate on hands on work as we continue our efforts in assisting residents back into their homes.

We would like to invite all participants to The Beanery located at 516 Bay Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742, on June 13, from 7 pm-8:30pm to orientation to discuss guidelines, expectations and details about this program. All students will also be signing their acceptance letter to the internship at this meeting.
