What to do at the Shore during Labor Day weekend

EVENTS

The will be held at historic in Wall Township this weekend. The event will feature more than 300 varieties of wine from more than two dozen wineries. The festival, which runs from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, also will feature live music, vendors and crafters. Tickets for wine sampling are $25 for those 21 years and older. Tickets are available at the festival or through the New Jersey Wine Growers website at www.newjerseywines.com. Those under 21 or who are not sampling wine are admitted free.

Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven will stage which is described as an Italian-American fairy tale set in 1956 Hoboken. Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday and at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $36 to $54; visit www.surflight.org or call 609-492-9477.

Manasquan will hold a at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the main beach. A concert by "Moonlighting" will be followed by a fireworks display.

The Ocean County Historical Society will hold its from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the parking facility on Madison Avenue, Toms River, and the Historical Society grounds, 26 Hadley Ave., Toms River. The event will feature everything from local artists to vintage cars to vendors from throughout the tri-state area. Call 732-341-1880 for more information.
