Cancelled: Tonight's Family Fishing Night in Point Beach
Prediction of rain cancelling event
originally scheduled for tonight at Loughran's Point on the Manasquan Inlet in Point Beach is cancelled due to predictions of rain.
It is not yet known if there will be a new date, perhaps in September, said Marc Palazzolo, owner of Alex's Bait and Tackle on the Manasquan Inlet, who was scheduled to help with the event.

Michael Ramos, a Recreation Committee official, also announced the cancellation in a group email.
The Point Beach Recreation Committee has been planning and running the family fishing nights last summer and this summer. This would have been the second one this season.
