Carmie Brady Fundraiser at Jenkinson's on Sunday

All proceeds for families with children with cancer and other serious illnesses

A fundraiser for seriously ill children and their families will be held by the at on Sunday.

The Fifth Annual Carmie Brady Foundation Fundraiser will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $20 per person which includes a hot and cold buffet. There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. All proceeds go to childen with cancer and other illnesses and their families.

The admission price does not include the cost of alcoholic beverages. However, guests will be able to buy drinks at Happy Hour prices.

The Pipes and Drums of the Jersey Shore and Brue Crew will perform.

Donations and ticket requests can be sent to the Carmie Brady Foundation, PO Box 91, Manasquan, NJ 08736 or at the Carmie Brady Foundation website.

"Last year it was attended by over 500 people and the support from the local towns for our gift auction has been phenomenal," said Scott Brady of the foundation. " Since we started the foundation four years ago, we have raised over $250,000.

"The families have put the money towards various uses (i.e. vacations just to get away, medical devices not covered by insurance, etc.)," Brady wrote in an email. "The letters we receive from these families are heartwrenching."
