Eagle Scout Car Wash on Sunday

Revenue will pay for lights outside a Point Beach firehouse

 

A 15-year-old Life Scout with Boy Scouts of America's Troop 6, Point Pleasant Beach. will be hosting an Eagle Scout Fundraising Car Wash at Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company #2 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Matthew Drew is running the car wash to help earn his Eagle Scout badge and also to help the fire house where his father, Mark Drew, is a volunteer firefighter and a former chief. The Drews live in Point Borough and Matthew is a sophomore at Point Borough High School.

The event will be held, weather permitting, at Fire Company #2, 614 Laurel Ave., Point Beach.
