Freezing Temperatures, Light Snow Forecast Today with More Cold Through Saturday

The latest forecast from National Weather Service Mount Holly and Brick Office of Emergency Management warns residents that continued freezing temperatures, as well as a light snow Thursday, are forecast for the area.

A look at today and the weekend:

Thursday: Chance of flurries - Morning low 0 to 5 above, high in the low 20s.
Friday: Sunny - Morning low 0 to 5 above, high in the upper teens.
Saturday will be a windy day, but temperatures will approach the freezing mark. A period of light snow is possible as another arctic cold front passes through the area. Saturday may be the only day between now and the end of January that records a high temperature above freezing.

The forecast comes after a winter storm dumped a foot of snow on Point Pleasant and more than 10 inches on portions of Brick Township Tuesday, canceling and delaying school and government services through today.
