As Silvio Canto discusses, I find it startling that almost half of all births in the United States are now paid for by Medicaid, or U.S.taxpayers.
Specifically, for example, the latest figures for New York City show that 76% of Hispanic births were covered by Medicaid, 70% of births in the black community were covered, and 31% of whites were covered.
I just wonder how much these figures will explode even more, when our new immigration law gets passed. I bet there is little or no calculation of these real expenses in the immigration ‘cost’ analysis done by the CBO!
