The Point Pleasant Borough Public Works Department oversees the borough's trash, leaf, brush and recycling collections and water, fire protection and sanitary collection systems. Its divisions include: Roads; Water and Sewer; and Buildings and Grounds. Private contractors collect trash and recycling. There is also a recycling center on Arthur Avenue, behind the Stop and Shop grocery store on Bridge Avenue, near the intersection of Route 88.
