I recently stayed at The White Sands while I was displcaed from my home due to the Hurricane. I must say I disagree with all of the below. The staff was so attentive to my every need. I was able to get pampered at the spa and eat at their newest restaurant called Finestre. What a treat ! I spoke to Christina the manager and was happy with her concern about myself and my family and how we are making out with the aftermath of sandy. She treated us like family! I would recommend anyone to stay here and see through this turmoil in our life there were happy moments when we stayed here. I will see you this summer for sure.

We have stayed at this resort 3 times in the past 4 years, and the only thing I ever had a problem with was check in, but it wasn't bad enough to keep me from coming back! I plan on going back to this Hotel each and every time I vacation in Pt Pleasant!
(continuation from previous review) When we complained to the manager Christina she was the completely patronizing. Her parting shot was that perhaps the Jersey shore wasn't for our family. Seriously, that was so obnoxious. She did offer us a free night but no refund of any kind. Really, with two small children, why would I go back there and risk such a bad experience again. I have been to numerous motels in Pt. Pleasant Beach ( and worked in one there) and have been way happier in them because I got what I paid for. Here, we did not.
We just got back from a stay at the White Sands and the room was so dirty, we were very glad to leave. On the first day, we found our sheets were stained, there was hair in the bed, and a few of the towels were stained as well. We complained and the front desk person did take care of it the next day. The room was a bit cleaner but yet again we found stains on the towels that they left us. The next morning, however, there was no hot water to take a shower with. For $300 a night, I would like hot water when I wake up rather than having to run it for 30 minutes. Also, there were four of us and despite the fact that four people could sleep in the bed, there was no way that the room was made for four people, two of which were children. The bathroom was so small that a sink had to be placed on the outside of the wall by the refrigerator. I don't mind paying $150 a night for a "shore hotel" but when a business tries to pass themselves off as a resort and charges you 300 after taxes to stay there, I would think that the facilities would be much better.

I recently stayed at the hotel for a wedding. Check in went smooth and the room was beautiful. They even have a bar on the first floor which we stayed until closing and had the best fun I have seen in a long time. We had breakfast the next morning which was a hot breakfast buffet Yummy! I plan to come back with my family this summer. They had an indoor pool which I didnt have time to swim and a spa on the second floor ? wow alot to offer at this hotel.
