Point Beach Council to Meet Tuesday
The boardwalk will be discussed
The Sandy-battered boardwalk in Point Beach will be discussed at a special meeting of the Point Beach Mayor and Council at Borough Hall on Tuesday night. Mayor Vincent Barrella announced at last week's council meeting that issues regarding the boardwalk, which was wiped out on the south end, and damaged in some other sections, will be discussed at a special meeting on Tuesday. The clerk's office issued the following meeting notice: "The public is hereby notified that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach will meet to conduct business on November 27, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, in the Council Chambers of the Borough Hall, 416 New Jersey Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach. I think it is a bit unfair. That everyone else has to pay for an area and boardwalk that they chose no to live in. more ›
