Point Boro Relief Center: No More Donations, Please

Center has no more space for clothes, food or supplies

  The Point Borough Relief Center on the former Tally's car dealership lot on Bridge Avenue can no longer accept donations of any kind, officials said on Monday. The large building and its parking lot are full of non-perishable food, water, diapers, clothing, outerwear, cleaning supplies and firewood for anyone affected by Sandy to come and take for free. However, there is simply no more room for additional donations, so area residents are asked to please not drop off any more, said Kiel Arnone, Borough Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator.
