Waretown Man Charged with New Year's Eve Hate Crime
Indictment notes that Waretown resident and East Windsor man drove to Sayreville specifically to assault non-Caucasian individuals.
A 31-year-old Waretown man has been arrested and charged in connection with a hate crime that occurred last New Year's Eve in Sayreville. Federal agents arrested Christopher Ising this morning on an indictment that charges him with conspiracy to commit a hate crime, as well as the actual commission of a hate crime assault, in violation of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr., Hate Crimes Prevention Act. Ising, a purported member of the white supremacist organization known as the “Atlantic City Skins,” is scheduled to make his initial court appearance later today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Cathy L.
