Funds will help house volunteers helping Sandy victims

She consistently ran ahead of schedule and while she was extremely appreciative, her remarks were brief and to the point. Rite Aid donated nearly $350,000 to the First Lady's relief fund which has received "$32 million in commitments," Christie said. "We're hoping to raise $50 …

And while on the surface it might look like any other youth sports league, for players like Ryan Herrington and Garrett DeTata, the Brick Stars Challenger Hockey program is far more than just a hockey program; it’s a chance to be like other kids. “He looks forward to it,” Michael DeTata of Brick said of Garrett, 8, who has Asperger’s syndrome, which is part of the autism disorder spectrum…

Hey, God bless these folks, I'm sure their all doing a great job and we all thank them for their time and efforts. However, $31,000 doesn't really account for anything when you think about all the moneys donated and supposedly to be given to the flood victims. I'm a BIG Chris Christy fan, but come on gov. We got a lot of people that really need the help.   more ›
