The Show Must Go On!

"The Fantasticks" Opens Thurs. at Point Boro H.S.

  "The Fantasticks" will open Thursday night at Point Borough High School and tickets are now on sale. Rebecca Muraglia, Dramatic Arts teacher, said, "Although we lost two valuable weeks of rehearsal, we still intend on opening our show on the original date of Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. Needless to say, ticket sales are down due to the aftermath of Sandy." Muraglia, along with the cast and crew, are encouraging the community to come enjoy the show. The school district was closed for two weeks due to Tropical Storm Sandy flooding and damaging many homes of students and staff, although the school buildings were not flooded or damaged. Point Beach H.S. to Perform Play Thursday and Friday

"This Is a Play" will be performed at Antrim auditorium

  Point Beach High School students will perform "This is a Play" at the auditorium of the Harold G. Antrim Elementary School on Thursday and Friday. The shows will be at 7 p.m. at the Thomas Crawley auditorium, 401 Niblick St. Please see attached PDF for ticket information.

Point Boro Actors in 'Anything Goes' at Spring Lake Theater

Play continues tonight and next week

The director and six of the actors in Anything Goes at Spring Lake Theatre Company's Community House are from Point Pleasant Borough. Kerry Baglivio is directing. The cast includes Point residents Steve and Christine Baglivio; Felicia Catney; Andrew Ferrie; Chris Kubat and Lucas Westervelt. And you can see the play tonight or next week. There are seven performances remaining at 8 p.m. tonight and Aug. 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, and 25. The show opened Thursday at the Historic Spring Lake Community House. Anything Goes, featuring the music of famed composer Cole Porter, originally opened on Broadway in 1934 at what is now the Neil Simon Theater.
