A new date for Trick or Treating is "highly unlikely," say police
Trick or treating is cancelled today in Point Borough, according to the Borough police department. Borough officials had been saying trick or treating today would be left to the discretion of parents, regarding when and where to trick or treat and that there may also be a "trick or trunk" at the Stop & Shop parking lot on Bridge Avenue sometime today. However, the police department said on Monday morning that all of that has been cancelled for safety reasons. "Chief Williams made the decision to cancel trick or treating today for the safety of the kids and any pedestrians," said Captain Richard Larsen.
