Relief station has plenty of food, clothing, firewood for other towns
The Point Borough Relief Station on Bridge Avenue has enough supplies to share with Tropical Storm Sandy victims from other towns. Any residents or business people from any of the surrounding communities, as well as those from Point Borough, who have been impacted by Sandy, are welcome to pick up free supplies at the relief station on Bridge Avenue, just west of the Lovelandtown Bridge, on the former Tally's car dealership lot. There is food, water, clothing, diapers, cleaning supplies, firewood and more. If you need help of any other kind, ask the police and volunteers manning the tables and they will give you referrals. St. Peters also has a lot of clothes, blankets, coats, shoes etc... in their cafeteria. They sent a lot of food to St. Gregory's Food Pantry the other day.   more ›
