ReplyIt's been over 6 months since the storm. There are no sand dunes and beaches have been hollowed out of 5-10 feet of sand. Hurricane season begins next month. And all they talk about is the boardwalk. Am I missing something? Where are the priorities?

ReplyOpinionated is correct. This is a bailout, first for insurance companies and later for banks. And the government is happy to assist.

Isn't one of the obvious "take always" from all of the the complete elimination of these overpaid Administrator jobs such as Superintendent? The are paid too much, the financial liability due to salary and pension is too high. Do away with these positions. They are a total rip off of the taxpayer.
