Manipulative report by the township. T-Bones are down, what about a total view of ALL accidents.
If you manipulate numbers, or leave certain numbers out or in, you can prove anything but in the end its all worthless. Nice business you have going there.

Resident,
Just do your 35 mph, keep 3.5 car lengths behind the guy in front of you, know the guy behind you is doing the same, keep your hands at 10 and 2, and when the light turns red stop.Say hello to Wally and Beaver.

Hey Grump,
Not speaking from a strictly residential perspective. Most people have no idea what it takes to stop a loaded tractor trailer. When I'm on a highway and that light turns yellow or red, before I stop I'm looking in the mirror to see what behind me.Thats a lesson your wonderful red light camera won't teach you until its to late.

Dear resident,
Tell that to the 35,000 lb tractor trailer behind you when you jam on your brakes because of the light red light camera and you become part of his engine compartment. -

Reply"Nobody can tell me or convince me that, statistically, they don't save lives," said Acropolis.
Where are the statistics?? We are in the 4th year of the so called pilot and all we hear is generic hot air and nothing to back it up.
Statistics should have been published from day 1 and every month after for every event in each of these intersections. Why are these statistics so hard to come by after 4 years of 'testing'?
And if it is really about safety why are the cameras set to the lowest micro second legally available? People are not computers, driving entails a certain amount of judgement depending on the situation.
And where is the public education on all this? All these funds being collected, where is the public safety education, commercials, billboards, etc. if you are so concerned where is all that? Why not re-educate people if right turns on red are such a big component of these fines, etc, etc?
You want to stop T-bones, go to a 4 way red light, make people sit a few extra seconds - end of story.

Reply'Some believe Seaside is going to be busy this summer - not with vacationers, but with day-trippers solely interested in checking out Seaside’s destruction.'
That may very well be, but they will spend money just the same. I was at Seaside a few Sundays ago and there were a lot of people there for a cold winter day. Of course they came down to see what is left of their Seaside, just like we did. But the food places that were open, and the arcades that were open were packed. Its all part of peoples lives and memories, the before, the now, and the future. I appreciated the fact that Seaside/Seaside Park allowed us to get close to all that happened, to feel the pain, take some pictures, and even have a little fun. And yes, we will be back.

Its not that hard Brick, a simple excel spreadsheet with a before and after of each specific item being mentioned.
