I've only been to Favorites a few times so far. I'm not a seasoned racing gambler by any means! (quite green, actually -- poker and black jack are my games), but the staff there is very helpful, patient and friendly.
The food is very good, decent prices, and the drinks are reasonable enough. Crowds during the day are: Mostly men; mostly over 50; mostly non-rowdy. Crowds at night; I wouldn't know, I haven't gone there at night - yet - but I will be going soon.
Fun way to pass a few hours.
