ReplyDisappointed.....I'm sure that they could have come up with a better word and more stronger word than that. I went into Seaside Heights yesterday for the first time and left so depressed. Those poor people.
We can so quickly send aid to foreign countries, what about our own people? If all comes down to the game called politics. -

ReplyI'm so proud of the BHS students for protesting the attempted ban on their graduation at Foley Field. As a 1965 graduate of BHS waiting for June to arrive was the highlight of every senior 'back in the day'.....walking to the field for practices, then graduation night....was the highlight of my senior year. Keep protesting seniors and don't give up.

ReplyI was walking on the boardwalk in SSH yesterday and saw the swimmers out in the water. I'm not surprised to hear that they had to be rescued, the water was very rough and the passing storms although off shore have a very large affect on our waters.

The Mantoloking Bridge opened today. Before I retired every morning I used to go over this bridge on my way to Rt. 35. Then at the top of the bridge you could see all the houses along the beach in Mantoloking...today....all there was, was the beach....all the houses are gone. From there I headed south on Rt. 35 and between seeing houses off of their foundations or just gone....I felt like my breath was taken away. When a friend asked me to describe what I saw, I said, "there are no words"....Please keep all of those people in your prayers. God help them all.
