ReplyI would think this would be a bit embarassing for the Gov. when Prince Harry sees how little has been done to get people back in their homes. 5 months and still waiting. I'd like to hear that explanation!

ReplyGiven the devastation that we all experienced, I would have hoped that all differences could be put aside despite personal or political views. In the days and weeks following Sandy it was clear that our town came together to help those in need. I know I am very proud that my family members were among the many who made a difference in our community. Some left their own damaged homes to lend a hand to neighbors, family acquaintances or strangers.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to justify how the same people repeatedly turn their backs on what is best for the town; what is good for our people and quite simply put, the right thing to do. I knew a very smart man who said, "Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching". Something to consider.
