ReplyThousands of homes still haven't been rebuilt 7 months after Sandy, because Christie hurriedly adopted FEMA's temporary elevation mandates -- with exorbitant annual premiums to follow. There will be thousands of abandonments and foreclosures up and down the coast. Christie thinks "Boardwalks & boarded-up homes: Perfect together."
Even commercial areas are still hurting: "While many businesses on Long Beach Boulevard were open, many were not. Some were vacant, some boarded up, some with for sale signs."

ReplyThe only house he cares about is at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Certainly not the 100,000 homes that were affected by Sandy. There's no mention of any NJ homes in his agenda: "Christie said that he plans travel along the entire Jersey Shore this week and into the Memorial Day Weekend to see the progress of boardwalks and beaches."

Christie isn't worried that you can't afford to elevate your house, or pay big bucks annually for insurance, or abandon or let your house go into foreclosure. Today's Star-Ledger:
He still doesn't get it, or the only house he cares about is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue! ==> StopFemaNow.com

This article is the kind of honest reporting the other media should do. 100,000 homes damaged by Sandy mean a lot more than boardwalks! At least CNN TV has been showing the residential areas this week -- and lots of Bennies are driving through my neighborhood gawking at the damage that Christie doesn't seem to be aware of.
